Located along the White Trail in the preserve. The trail blazes are well marked but the trails are less travelled and have roots, water and flora all along the way. Cache is within six feet of trail. Parking is available at either entrance to the preserve-Beebe Rd. or Daniel Peck Rd.

This 18.5-acre East Haddam Land Trust preserve is located in the middle of a subdivision with an additional 28 acres of conservation easements on five of the lots. These easements restrict the landowner's activities to those compatible with conservation. A trail system rambles through several wetlands, and provides access to upper Moodus Reservoir. Hiking is the only allowed activity since horses, ATV's and mountain bikes can damage the fragile wetland habitat. Please stay on the trails to minimize impact on the sensitive areas, and to ensure the privacy of the neighboring landowners. Be aware that some owners hunt on their properties, so staying on the trail is important for this reason as well.
