Grandad's Place Traditional Cache
ranchhands 4: This cache no longer exists. They are widening the highway and the mulcher got it. "Grandad's place no longer exists so there is no place to relocate it. Thanks to everyone who visited this cache.

My grandad owned the quarter of land that the highway goes through and this little piece of bush was cut off from the rest of the quarter so I still think of it as Grandad's. I thought it would be a good place for a TB Hotel as Grandad's family had a history of having the "stopping house" back in the horse and buggy days, before they moved to the Drayton Valley area. Across the highway, in line with 50th street you can still see where the old ferry road went south. It crossed the big coulee came out by my Grandad's house. We used to take our cows from our place at Aspenview to Grandad's across the coulee on this trail.
