Founded in 1854, this city is one of the oldest in MN, and was one of the greatest sources of limestone.
Just up Hwy 57 from Kasson, this city is the county seat. On your way into town is a road with a grave sounding name. You may have passed it hundreds of times without a glance. Careful driving in as there is a bike-path across the road. Finding parking is no picnic, but there is little traffic.
This is an average-sized cache and is filled with lots of Halloween-related goodies - bat rings, vampire teeth, pirate eye-patches, and more. Put in some of your own Halloween treats if you like (no candy or food, please) or your own little trinket! Remember to sign the log book, and as always, trade even or trade up!
The town is on the National Register of Historic Places. While there, visit some memorials - but be respectful of this beautiful and solemn place.
