Geocache Description:

Keep an eye on little ones & dogs here. Some amazing rock structures.

Continue your walk along the red route through Weem Woods to the crags. Please watch your youngsters and dogs here. There are also steps to negotiate which could be slippery when wet.

The circular path rises steeply, leading to St David’s Well, a natural spring and hermit’s retreat believed to have been used by St Cuthbert in the early days of Christianity. The well is named after a local laird who occupied the area in the 15th century, living as a hermit in one of the hillside caves. There is a small round plaque above the well. Also look for the cross carved into the rock.

Cache is a lunch box. Please replace & put stick cammo back after you've finished. Original stash included.
