Geocache Description:

Click to go to the Mega Scotland web site

The Birks of Aberfeldy, is a pleasant walk up and over the falls, making a lovely circular walk around the falls of Moness. Originally known as the Den of Moness, the Birks acquired the recent name thanks to the song penned by Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns in August 1787.

At the upper carpark you will find picnic tables, and trees to explore before continuing your walk upstream. Look out for a couple of trees that have grown, incorporating iron seats into their trunks.

Cache is a 450ml box and its contents include

tripod torch
yoyo
gel pen
toy car
jewelled ring
ipod cover
ball
fine writer pen
mosaic game
keyring
mouse
