The top of Saddle Rock. The trail conditions very, depending on the time of year, and what path you choose to take. The hike can be muddy when snow is melting, or cold when windy or rainy. Most of my hikes here have been HOT. Suggestion: bring water bottle, and camera. Wear good hiking shoes.
My boys and I made it to the top for the second time, today and decided this place needed this cache. There were several bugs we spied on the way. My oldest son picked the name and location for the cache.There is a small ammount of room for tiny pretend bugs (not travel bugs).
There is a moment, before your head is above the top, that you can hear the sounds of the mountains. If you continue walking, you will hear the rush of Wenatchee!
When we get to the top we yell (at the top of our lungs), who we love (I was told once to yell swear words, but I find loving words to feel MUCH better!!!)! I challenge you to do the same! It feels silly at first, but then the boys don't stop!
