Geocache Description:

Mountainbiking gets more and more popular, many regions have established official marked tours, as did Luxembourg. Information about these official moutainbike trails is available on the site of the 'National Tourist Office'. This cache follows the 'Mountainbike Trail Nr20 - Wormeldange', the direct pdf download link with description of this tour is here. But you do not really need the description as the trail is well-marked and easy to follow (and you have many waypoints).
Other trails will follow, if you'd like to hide a cache on another trail, feel free to do so, in fact, thanks for giving a hand on that. But it would nice to get a notice in order to avoid that a few people work on the same trail.
Some (official) info about this tour:
  • Distance: 24,5 km
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Max/min height: 388m / 256m
  • Climb: 500m
This cache is quite easy, from the start, follow the marked trail; at the waypoints pay attention to identify the pictures and assign numbers to the various letters. All the pictures should be recognizable without problem.. What? No picture is good? Then assign 0 to letter When you reach the picture shown last in this description, sit down on the bench and calculate the final coordinates.
A note on the trail: Most part of the trail is quite easy mountainbike terrain, well, you could even use a trekking bike or similar. But a over 1km long section is not suitable for non-mountainbikes, that part does not seem to get used by anybody other than mountainbikers. Most of the tour is on unpaved wood trail, a large part on tarmac field or wood trail, a few km on road. On this tour, there are no single trails. At hiding time there was no mud at all, but I'm sure that after rainshowers, several parts will be muddy.
At one point, a bunch of fallen trees block the regular path. Just use the woodworkers path going left, leave that one after a short while to the right, and bike like this around the needle trees. I was able to do so without pushing my bike. Hopefully the path will get cleared soon.

Note: For those that care about 'by fair means', bike to Wormeldange, look inside the Wormeldange village for a sign 18% ... follow that road and you will go strait to the start of this cache

You should see this at the start:

Bike and have a look for the following pictures ...

Everything clear? Then continue on till you see this bench, sit down and calculate the final coords:
