fermoso mosteiro benedictino fundado no século X, considerado
unha das obras más salientables da transición entre o románico
e ó gótico en Galicia. Despois de longos anos de abandono foi
restaurado a mediados do século pasado e hoxe
pode visitarse.

En el ayuntamiento de Silleda, a orillas del
río Deza, encontramos este hermoso monasterio
benedictino fundado en el siglo X, considerado una de las
obras más destacadas de la transición entre el románico y el
gótico en Galicia. Tras largos años de abandono fue restaurado a
mediados del pasado siglo y hoy puede
visitarse.

This beautiful 10th century
monastery can be found in the municipality of Silleda, lying on the
banks of the river Deza. It is considered one of the most
outstanding works of the transition between Late Romanesque
and Gothic in Galicia. After years of neglect it was restored
in the mid 20th century and now it can
be visited.
