WWFM VII: A Brevard County Dance Event Festival Event Cache

This event is one of the WWFM VII - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events where thousands of geocachers at dozens of events all around the globe, gather at the same time and have some fun.

Yes it's that time again fellow geocachers, when we cause confusion in the boring muggle world by holding a flash mob event in a highly public place. May 15, 2010 is the day and at exactly 1pm EST (as determined by the GPS clock) is when we kick off our 15 minute event.

12:45pm to 12:59pm EST: Arrive Cocoa Beach Pier, wait inconspicuously nearby, trying not to look suspicious. Just stroll around the area, act naturally, and maybe do some window shopping. But stay close to gz.

1:00pm EST: I will officially get this party started by walking in to the area, blowing a whistle, signaling everyone to rush towards me.

1:00pm to 1:02pm EST: Immediately following the whistle, listen for the Harry Belefonte classic 'jump the line." This is your signal to form a conga line behind me. Move quickly now! That's right gang, we will be doing the conga line dance the Cocoa beach Pier.

(For those of us that are dance challenged. When doing the conga line, there will be one lead person to direct the direction of the line. The next person and all following persons after that put their hands on the hips of the person directly in front of them. Starting on the left foot, step left foot, step right foot, step left foot and then, "kick" to your right. Now switch, you step right foot, step left foot, step right foot and kick then to your left.)

1:02pm to 1:06pm EST: The conga line will immediately morph into a group photo. Move quickly. Smile!

1:06pm to 1:09pm EST: Limited edition sign in sheets will be handed out. Sign in.

1:09pm to 1:12pm EST: Time for the traditional flash mob meal of a single Hershey Kiss.

1:12pm to 1:13pm EST: Give away time. Prize for most festively dressed for the occasion. This is your opportunity to shine.

1:13pm to 1:15pm EST: Geo-smoozing time, tie up loose ends, and say goodbye.

1:15pm EST: The event is officially over. Immediately leave the area and blend back into the muggle population.
