After stopping at a
couple of scenic areas, we came upon a place that I had visited
only once before. There, a bridge crosses Canyon Creek and there
are a couple of camping sites big enough for RV's.
The place is badly
in need of a C.I.T.O. party and I was happy to see that someone had
gotten a pretty good start. Most of the trash from camping and
shooting was piled up in one spot. Now if we could just bag it up
and haul it outta here!
The cache is about
6 miles up Green Mountain Rd./Nat for Dev #41. The container is a
camouflaged LocknLock placed not far from the road. There is
parking on either side of the bridge, and the cache isn't far
enough off the road to where you would have to worry about
vandals.
