Geocache Description:

Commemorating 1000 finds and 57 cache placements by lele2. You're hunting for the usual silver ammo can (now a pill bottle) hidden in a traditional manner. lele2 is well known for her interest in biking trails and in rails to trails programs so this placement pays a nod of respect to those interests.

lele2 first became of premium member in 2005 but it wasn't until June 4, 2006 that she spread her wings for the very first time and went out on a cache adventure. Her first find was "CCC - Hiking Shelter - Bikers Rest" A multi-staged cache by Panther in the Den, Dodge the Polara and Maggie.

Over the past four years lele2 has placed caches in and around the town of Elmhurst making it a must see location for geocachers. Many of her placements are unique to the location, designed to fit in so as not to be noticed by muggles and even to challenge seasoned geocachers. The thought put into the design and location of these unique hides has been inspiring to many of us, and has helped to capture the imagination of new geocachers just entering the sport.

This cache was placed continuing the tradition started by fallenfaery & Special Ed in 2004 of recognizing milestone finds by geocachers in Chicagoland.
