dalemac57: Well this baby has definately been destroyed. Turns out the BART people mover dives undergound under Doolittle (Hwy 61) partially because an elevated train at this spot gets in the way of aircraft landing at North Oakland. The bike path will probably be replaced eventually, but not before this cut and cover construction is complete... which I doubt will be complete this summer. The other two caches to the south may or may not exist because they have NOT demolished the area between the old path and the golf course perimeter fence, which is where the caches should be. Unlikely the construction fencing will be removed this summer.
