From Dave Ulmer in 2000 we have:
"Well, I did it, created the first stash hunt stash and here are
the coordinates:
N 45 17.460
W122 24.800
Lots of goodies for the finders. Look for a black plastic
bucket buried most of the way in the ground. Take some stuff, leave
some stuff! Record it all in the log book. Have Fun!
Stash contians: Delorme Topo USA software, videos,
books,food,money, and a slingshot! "
This cache is similar to the first ever put out, a 5 gallon
container just off the side of the road. Inside are 2 separate
bags
for swaps, one is labeled "Do not swap" and contains the
following:
2 paper maps of the Adelaide area, a cassette recorder, a CD of
hits from 2000 ,a "George of the Jungle" VHS tape, a book "Silence
of the Lambs", 4 $5 "bills" and a can of beans.
The original cache contained:Delorme Topo USA and 2 CD Roms,
a
cassette recorder, a "George of the Jungle" VHS tape, a Ross
Perot
book, 4 $1 bills, a slingshot handle, and a very famous can of
beans.
If people have some US $1 bills, a Ross Perot book and spare
slingshot handle then they can be swapped into this bag with the
aim to make it match the original contents of that first cache,
however please don't take out items that already match and are
difficult to replace like the cassette recorder or VHS tape.
To find the location of this cache just use the fractions of
minutes of the original cache.
There is also a regular swaps bag and logbook.
