I love to paddle and although sea kayaking is my favorite, there are times, such as this area, when quiet water soothes the soul like no other. There are lots of wildlife to be seen and heard and I come here when I just want to float around and enjoy my surroundings. I hope that you do the same.
You are looking for a Tupperware container that has been painted black. Please, please make sure that it is replaced well and can not be seen from any angle. This place gets frequented a lot during certain times of the season.
This one can be reached it from at least 3 different launch sites in the area. You will have to view a map to find them. However, the one I use is: N44.52.457 W068.55.159. It's right on the side of the road before a bridge and you'll have to hug the shoulder to park. Beware of passing cars when you unload!
The terrain is rated a 4 because you must have a small watercraft to access the area. And please remember your PFD (life jacket)!!!
