Located on a new boardwalk that has been built on the Legget Sabin Trail.
When the Sabin School was still a Traverse City Public School, the trail was often used for nature hikes by the classes---very muddy and buggy!! Now that there is no more school there appears a wonderful boardwalk. Go Figure!! The area truly is swampy, but does have a nice little creek flowing through it.
It is easily accessed off the old Sabin School playground.
