MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

a quiet walk on a fourth class road.

park at the listed coordinates. be aware that both to the right and left of the road is private property. lots of beautiful views and old stonewalls. nice walk for families with small children. dogs can be off leash, but a couple of times we have crossed path with horses, so keep a lead with you so not to scare the horses. the walk to the cache is mostly uphill, but that means that the walk back is mostly downhill. you can continue on the path past the cache for another 1/2 mile or so till you reach the power lines on the other end of ashworth road. as of 5//6/10 there are three other caches on this road heading towards miller road.

this cache was released in celebration of the 10 years! Guilford VT event
