Coordinates have been provided for the trailhead leading to the cache. You can park on 134th Ave E. Please use this trail and not the gated entrance further west on 144th St. The City is in the process of refurbishing one of the reservoirs and the gated entrance is for construction vehicles only.
The City of Tacoma McMillin Reservoir was completed in 1913 and stores water from the Green River. The City owns a large tract of forested land to the east of the reservoirs with many great trails for hiking and running.
