This geocache was placed on the 10th anniversary of geocaching, and less than two months after the millionth geocache was placed. This hide furthers the ongoing quest to place geocaches every tenth of a mile over the entire land surface of the Earth. There were no geocaches within a tenth of a mile of this location, therefore one was required.
The cache is placed in a natural canyon and you will have to hike just over a tenth of a mile to get to it. Parking and trailhead are found about a tenth of a mile down Eugene Pl. The trails are steep in places, with some overgrowth, and you should be on the lookout for possible poison oak and spiky plants while hiking and searching. The cache is a camo'd ammo box containing swag.
