Geocache Description:

You are now looking for a NANO instead of the old 35mm film canister which seems to have disappered.

Priory Park is a very pretty park located in Crouch End /Hornsey. It features a small cafe with paddling pool and playgrounds.
It is a regular winner of the Green Flag Award.

The cache is placed in the Philosophers Garden in Priory Park; where no dogs are allowed. According to Haringey Council this corner of the park is named after The Priory Park Philosophers, a club for retired elderly men who used an old bandstand in the park for ‘casual conversation during fine weather’.
After finding the cache you could explore the history of Priory Park and Crouch End with the help of 4 Heritage Trail boards.

The park is open during daylight hours, it can be very busy at the weekends and after work hours.
The park is generally wheelchair accessible, to find the cache you need to get off the path.

Buses to Priory Park are
north entrances (Middle Lane/Priory Road): W3 and 144
south entrances (Park Road/Barrington Road): W7
The next train station is Hornsey.
