Geocache Description:

This one was placed strictly out of "Mommy Guilt", since our furry kids all have birthday caches and I was feeling bad about leaving the adult "human kids" out. BYOP, bug spray and check for ticks. Found this area while out hiking several paths yesterday, including a nearby dog-friendly bike path with the Labsdales. Happy Birthday Steve! 3/12/24 Mr. Grapes replaced container with a small, just hanging out amongst its' pine neighbors.

This one was placed strictly out of "Mommy Guilt", since our furry kids all have birthday caches and I was feeling bad about leaving the adult "human kids" out. Bring your own pen, bug spray and check for ticks. Happy Birthday Steve! 3/12/24 Mr. Grapes replaced with a small container, just hanging out amongst its' pine neighbors. The Racine County parks system is not dog-friendly. However, the trail adjacent to the park where we were hiking yesterday with the Labsdales is. It's a bike path and leashes are required there. So if you park and come in on the road where the bike path starts, and if your geo-dogs stay on the bike path with someone while you hunt the caches, you'll be fine. ***Note, we kept the Labsdales out of the Racine County park system...but Mr. Grapes sure saw other dogs and pup prints in it. Went back out again to hide 4 more caches and ran into a dog and her Mom. She said dogs could be on the cross country trails. So I looked at the Saller Woods sign on the other side of the park and it doesn't say anything about no dogs allowed.
