Should be a pretty quick P&G. Be sure to rehide it well, so it will stay around (I hope!)
It's a "treasure box" because my wife loves to fill caches up with toys for all the kids. A medium sized lock'n'lock full of swag.
"Vera's" is the infamous tavern nearby. She's no longer here, but the place still is. It was actually in an episode of "Rare Visions & Roadside Revalations." Link: www.rarevisionsroadtrip.com/flash/images/ks/14ksvera.pdf
There is also an obscure documentary that was filmed in this town too. That's about the only thing here, aside from my Grandpa that is. "Manhattan, Kansas" (2006) is the name of the film if interested.
