Geocache Description:

Should be a quick park and grab. There is a pull over a few feet from the cache. As always use caution near rivers and roads. BYOP. There is room for a log only, but there a heart-shaped metal locket on a string for the FTF. Do not travel this section of Coal River Road if there are High Water signs. River does get over the road in many places during floods. Stay near the end of rail while searching. Conrats to KevinM12345 for FTF! Friendly reminder, watch out for wasps in warmer weather.

Located by a pull over on Coal River Road between Tornado and Alum Creek. We wanted to place a small "perk" cache for anyone who might travel this way in search of caches in those communities. How the cache was named: When I went to place the cache in my chosen spot, I found a stash of unopened mail that someone had shoved inside. Postmarks were from January! I guess someone was playing post office? Delivered mail to Tornado Post Office and left them to sort it out and redeliver. I'm sure there were several local people wondering where their bills had gone! There were a few bugs on the mail that I could not identify. They did not bother me but they were NOT pretty critters. May want to wear a glove for this type of grab in the summer....as lovetobead can tell you, creepy crawlies love places like this!
