Disclaimer: I love my kids! If my legacy is that I was a good
father to them, and a loving husband to my wife then my life was a
success.
As a kid my parents would often invite other families to go
camping, and with 3 or 4 families we'd have a great time. However,
almost always, at some point during the singing of songs around the
campfire, the adults would break out into their favorite: "Once I
was Happy, but Now I Have Children." That was all the words to the
song, and as that special verse was repeated over and over, they
would hold "Now" longer and longer.
Now that I have four kids of my own I have begun to appreciate
the inebriated adults' need to blow-off some steam like that, and
in a few more sessions I should be just about fine .
In my house now, if the TV is on, with 4 children between 18
months and 8 years, my wishes for program choice have been
relegated to 6th place - OK, sometimes 5th! So, you get to walk in
my shoes (and endure what I have to endure) if you want to solve
this puzzle and find the actual coords for this cache ! If I had my druthers, the clues would be
more like "A = the number on Joe Pavelski's jersey," but there's
not much time for hockey in my house anymore. And no, A does not
equal 8, but nice try.
The cache is located at:

A = the number of choices Toodles offers in every episode,
including the ever-present Mystery Mouse-ka-tool
B = E - A - J
C = the number of times the porous main character's full name is sung or
shouted throughout the opening ditty (keep in mind this show airs
MANY times throughout every day of the week, and with two episodes
every 1/2 hour you should count your lucky stars if you've never
heard this song before!)
D = K + F
E = the number of kids in Mike and Carol's family (my kids don't
watch this one, but we're trying... hey, it's wholesome!)
F = the number of times the little girl and the monkey repeat
the special phrase that almost always prevents the fox from
stealing something - unless they're too late
G = K + A - I
H = the number of tools in Manny's toolbox (before the
flashlight character was added to the show)
I = the number of regular characters besides DJ Lance (are you
getting some appreciation yet?!)
J = the number of regular (Mac's not in every episode, so don't
count him) dog friends big Clifford has
K = the number on the main engine from Sodor
If you can answer all these without asking a kid or doing any
research, then we're kindred spirits indeed !
Heard them singing "We did it,
we did it, we did it, lo hicimos, YEAH!" as I drove up !
