Geocache Description:

On the 6 th May ,1965, a little known bridge was officially opened in Wagga Wagga .A plaque has been fixed at the location as a dedication to a local who also has the adjacent Cassidy Parade named in his honor.

The Cassidy Bridge was named after David Casssidy esq and joins Cassidy Parade to Brookong Avenue.The Mayor,Ivan Jack ,Town Clerk and City Engineer were all present to unveil the plaque. Nice views over the city can be seen from the top of the bridge.
The XPT train travels underneath the Cassidy Bridge 4 times daily including from Melbourne at 12.31 am and 1.09 pm and from Sydney at 2.49 am and 1.54pm.
The cache is a small container blended to its surroundings. Its contains a log sheetl within a zip lock bag .Good luck and enjoy.Beware of commuter muggles at busy times.Please replace the cache in the exact spot you located it.
