Geocache Description:

This one should be a rather straight forward find.

While you are here, be sure to enjoy the beautiful roses nearby and enjoy the shade of the Boy Scouts of America 100th year anniversary tree which is just a few steps away.

The anniversary tree is an Allee Elm tree and was dedicated on March 21, 2010 with a formal ceremony, speakers and reception. Also, nearby (a secret location) is buried a time capsule which was dedicated as part of this event. This time capsule is registered with the International Time Capsule Society and is scheduled to be reopened in 2035 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Northeast Georgia Council.

When you get back from finding this jewel be sure to check out the history of the church there. It is one of the oldest church in Georgia and the land it sits on is full of history just by itself.

Congratulations to LaFavorite Cacher for FTF! Who Hoo!
