Difficult Denham Traditional Cache
Team-SK: Struggled with inspiration to replace this one because things have changed around gz since we first placed the cache. With the animals in the adjacent field and the paths being so dangerous, it would need a very well disguised cache to replace it, that we haven't got the energy to do. Bye bye Difficult Denham.

This cache is rated as terrain 5 for a good reason, its at the top of a quarry that is popular with climbers!
This cache is placed at the top of Denham quarry, and if you climb to it is counted as a terrain 5. If you cheat and use one of the footpaths from either end of the rock face to get to it, then it is only rated as a terrain 3!
The walk up to this cache is on loose gravel in places, and although being fairly well defined is close to a drop down a rock face, so good shoes are a must! You find this cache at your own risk. The path from the left of the quarry (opposite end to the pool) is the easier path to use, passing by "Underground Nuclear Bunker" first. You find this cache at your own risk. Please be very careful. It has a high terrain value for a good reason. Do not attempt in the dark, and I suggest avoiding wet days, and also sunny days (lots of muggles on sunny days!)
The cache is close to a trig point if you also find them.
The view from the top of here is excellent, you can see Blackpool tower, Longridge fells, Darwen Tower, all of Preston's landmark buildings and much more.
If you climb to this cache, please state the route name and climbing grade!
