Geocache Description:

My cousin, Emily and I spent a cool cloudy day hiding cahces around Falcon Lake. This was on of the last ones we hid and it was starting to rain when we got to trying to name this cache. We ran through a few names and finally I suggested we just call it Emily's Cache.

On May 20th 1967 a man had an encounter with something unexplained, that would forever live on as local folklore to the residents of Falcon Lake.

Stefan Michalak was an amateur prospector who was spending the day in the Falcon Lake examining quartz formations. Just after 12:00pm he heard cackling of startled geese from a near by pond and was astounded to see two cigar-shaped objects in the sky.One descended and landed a short distance away while the other took off.

Stefan watched as door opened on the craft and remembers hearing voices coming from inside the craft. He first spoke in English which got no response, then tried in Russian and German, Italian, French and Ukrainian, then once again in English. All getting no response.

At this point Michalak approached even closer and looked into the craft with his welding goggles on and saw a maze of lights and colours. The door he had been looking into suddenly closed. Stefan noticed the outside of the craft looked to covered in colourful glass, he reached out to touch the craft with his gloved handed it instantly burned through the gloves.

Unexpectedly, the craft shifted position, and he was facing a grid like exhaust vent. A blast of hot air knock Stefan down and set his clothes on fire. He looked up to see the craft finally depart.

Feeling weak and nauseated Stefan made is way back to Winnipeg where he found strange burns marks on his chest that match the vent on the crafty that blasted him with the hot air. Doctors and reserachers to this are unable to what exactly happend or the strange burns marks on Mic explain burn marks that appeared on Michalak 's chest.
