You are looking for a small black tube with a log and some very small trade items, thirty feet off the trail. Bring a pen. There are thorns and poison ivy in the area of the cache. You will be able to avoid them since they are not near the cache itself. It is a very short walk from the parking on Gnarled Hollow Road. This is a new two mile paved path going from Setauket to Port Jefferson. There are several other caches along this path so please search them out. In late spring and summer there are thorns and poison ivy off the trail within 10 feet of the cache. I have raised the terrain level to reflect this. Be wary of what you touch. There is no poison ivy where the cache actually is. Remember, leaves of three, leave them be!
