afwingman: By the looks of the previous posts it looks like someone needed an ammo can, found this one in the woods and took it with them. I have relocated out of state and can not get back to check on it in the near future so I wlll archive it and hope someone will take up this great location. It was fun while it lasted.

Geocache Description:

Congrats to Mitrustme for FTF

The mission of this group is to honor the dead by helping the living. Their roots trace back to 1899 when returnee's of the Spanish/American War and the Phillipine Insurrection organized to secure rights and benefits for there service. There was no medical care or pension and they were left to care for themselves. Today their membership with auxilary stands at 2.2 million members in approximatly 8,100 posts world wide. They have been instrumental in securing health, housing and many other benefits to numerous to list here. They volunteer more than 13 million hours annually to help in their communities. This cache is placed here so you may have a chance to see a member and say Welcome Home and Thank You for your service to our country. If you wish, your welcome to stop in and sit a spell, share some stories and maybe run into a long lost friend. Please return cache as you found it.
