Simple Pleasures Traditional Cache
busternfruss: I am sad to archive this cache--it's at the prettiest location of any of my few caches--but I can't currently find anyone to continue to give me permission to keep it there. Many thanks to all who've found it and for the favorite points. Remember to enjoy life's Simple Pleasures! Happy caching~ B&F

Simple cache at a lovely little place.
No telling how many children of all ages have enjoyed this beautiful spot over the years. When I first stopped by to check out the location, there were several children playing in the water and a teenager sunning on the grass with parents nearby. Such simple pleasures.
Wading is not required, but you might want to anyway, just for fun. It's a popular spot but keep an eye on the little kids. No special agility is needed to find the cache. The cache is not wheelchair accessible, but a nice view is.
Like many others, this creek was named for the Native Americans who lived in the area. See the gallery photo for a bit of history.
No one was around for us to ask for permission for the cache, but the locals who were there told me that people come here all the time to enjoy the area and that it would probably be fine to hide something. If muggles are present and watching, it might be best to just explain what you are doing.
Update Dec. 2010: Visited the pottery shop to buy a few Christmas ornaments, and the kind folks who lease the property are OK with the cache there despite the new "posted" sign. Do drop in if it's open.
**Please re-cover the cache completely and replace it in its safe hiding spot so it will be there for the next cacher.**
Enjoy your visit!
