Up near Rivi Traditional Cache

This, our third cache to date, is placed between the villages of Adlington and Rivington and sits in the shadow of Winter Hill.

While the location makes the cache suitable for drive-by logging, there are many public footpaths in the area which facilitate a pleasant walk in a scenic rural setting.

Please note - if you do drive to the cache via Adlington your sat-nav may try to lead you almost literally up the garden path!!

There is a public foopath and right-of-way off Babylon Lane (see additional waypoint) which popular sat-navs think is a suitable driving route - it isn't - although it does make for a good walking route to the cache location.

The cache container is a small lock-n-lock box big enough to hold small swag items or travel bugs.
