Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on public land near our favorite fishing hole, from suggested parking to cache the trek varies quite a bit from hard pack to grass on a slope to bushwacking. Not suitable for very small children. You will never need to be any where near the tracks.

This cache was hidden on 05/09/2010 in honor of our 50th find and also of the completion of my third Wood Badge ticket. What is wood badge you ask? Visit (visit link) for a more in depth look.

The recomended parking coordinates are N49.09.228 W88.24.499 although there is access from the official Kiley Park parking lot about .3 mile north of these coordinates. You will never need to go near the railroad tracks and the cache cannot be accessed from the south or west due to a water hazzard.

This cache is well hidden and I expect it to be rehidden as well or better than it is found. I am testing a new container, sort of a new twist on an old standby, let me know your thoughts, please be sure it is sealed before you latch it. Also use "EXTREME STEALTH" as this area is frequented by muggles of all ages.

Extreme caution should be taken on the last 50 feet of your trek, you will see why, this is why I say very small children (say under 8) should not accompany you on this find. A perfect oportunity for some CITO, if we all take a few pieces it will be gone in no time.

If you are an angler, please by all means bring a light tackle rod with a small spinner or a bobber and a worm. My son and I have caught and released a 4lb bass as well as many 7" to 9" bluegill from this pond. There are Northern in this pond as well, I saw a 20" one floating dead last weekend.

I hope you enjoy this cache, please walk the path to the north and visit our neighborhood park, enjoy the walk.

Post pictures if you catch any trophies.

FTF gets an item that I consider near and dear, I hope you like it.

I used to be a bobwhite a good old bobwhite too, but now I've finished bobwhiting I dont know what to do, I'm growing old and feeble and I can bobwhite no more, so I'm going to work my ticket if I can, Back to Gilwell happy land, I'm going to work my ticket if I can. - Thank you Lord Baden Powell your legacy lives on.
