Geocache Description:

One of the biggest train trestles around. You will find a 50 cal ammo can, with a bit of a start for trade items inside.

Park near the Pulp Mill / Lumber Mill / Dam on the edge of Castlegar and take the mode of your choice, however pedal bikes might find the road a bit soft in places. Quald's, Motor Bikes, and feet are the best choices.

Melt water drains from nearby Mount Sheilds forming Cub Creek as it flows toward, what was the Columbia River at the time of trestle construction, but now Lower Arrow Lakes. You can imagine the force required to carve such a deep cavern below, and what it took to create such a tall and long "bridge" for the train to cross.
