This cache, Paul & Babe 2010: Water Always Wins, was part of a summer-long geocaching adventure called Paul & Babe’s 2010 GeoHunt. It involved seeking out 30 caches along the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway driving route.
This cache is located at the dead end of Big Pine Trail off Cty Rd 3, south of Crosslake. It contains a log book and pencil.
What exactly is Paul & Babe's GeoHunt?
Now in it's second year, Paul & Babe's GeoHunt was a geocaching experience around the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway driving route. This 54-mile set of roads travels through the towns of Crosslake, Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Jenkins and Pine River, as well as several townships, in and around some of the most beautiful lake country (and fabulous vacationland) in northern Minnesota.

[This cache is on state land and has been placed with permission from the MN DNR.
From Cty Rd 3, follow the dirt road and take the first right. It will lead you to a rock dam, there is plenty of parking.
Hint: Follow the goat path to a clump of birch.
