How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed within a large area of "Permissive Access" (see nearby cache, 'Ridge & Furrow') where you are free to walk and take in the excellent views of Market Harborough. Please be aware though that cattle is often grazing in this field and therefore those of you walking dogs must take extra care.

The cache itself is placed on top of the hill if you've walked from "Ridge & Furrow", and therefore the terrain difficulty rating reflects the steep climb.

As the cache gives you views of Harborough, the houses can see you too - but at daytime you won't be noticeable unless you're wearing a hi-viz jacket as you're a good 300m away! This cache is not suitable for night caching though as your torch light would rather give the game away to the several houses down below.

The cache itself is a camouflaged sandwich box with plenty of room for TBs. GZ looks like it might get quite nettle-y in mid summer, so gloves and trousers might be required then. Please ensure the cache is rehidden well.

No hint as the hide itself is fairly standard for this kind of thing!!
