Welcome to the Richard Bong State Recreation Area. It was once
designated to be a jet fighter base named after Major Richard I.
Bong, a Poplar, Wisconsin, native who was America's leading air ace
during World War II.
A Wisconsin State Park sticker or daily admission fee is
required to enter this area.
This cache will bring you to a very popular location in the
summer months .. Vern Wolf Lake as it offers fishing, canoeing,
rowing, and swimming

Superintendent of the Southern Unit Kettle Moraine State Forest of
the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of
