Well now see,
C. C. Rider,
Well now see,
See what you have done.
Well now see.
C. C. Rider,
Well now see,
See what you have done.
Well you made me love you woman,
Now your man has come.
The song uses mostly traditional blues lyrics to tell the story of an unfaithful lover, commonly called easy riders: "See See rider, see what you have done", making a play on the word see and the sound of easy.
A lot of people have heard this song before. Originally performed by Gertrude 'Ma' Rainey in 1924, it has been also recorded by blues singers Big Bill Broonzy, Mississippi John Hurt, Lead Belly, Lightnin' Hopkins, and Peggy Lee as well as Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Janis Joplin, and The Grateful Dead. Most people have probably heard the version by The Animals on the radio.
This cache is a micro hidden Stud Mill Road style.
