Stella Maris (Star Of The Sea in Latin) is a beautiful place where you can see the mountain slides to the bay and meets the sea.
At this place you will find the Stella Maris Church, the upper cable car terminal (sliding to Bat Galim promenade), and a superb view.
Stella Maris is an area at the top of the Carmel mountain.
The area contains a lookout point, where you can enjoy a great view of Haifa and the sea.
Nearby you will also find the 1836 Stella Maris Carmelite Monastery. This monastry serves as the world center for Carmelites.
The church is open all week and entrance is free of charge.

After enjoying these 2 attractions, you can use the cable car and slide to the Bat Galim promenade (hopefully there's another cache there too :-))
The cache is a small round box and you can find it near a trail leading to another (less famous) lookout point who is looking at the sea.
