Geocache Description:

"NO FARMER = NO FOOD"

Settled in the heart of Western New York, Wyoming County is not only known for its rolling hills but has some of the richest farmland in all of New York. With agriculture being the county's largest industry, farmland dots the countryside in all directions. Many diverse crops can be seen growing in the fields throughout the county. Along with the basic dairy crops of field corn and hay, many cash crops are also grown. With three of the largest potato producers in the state, acres of potatoes are grown each year while beans, peas, and sweet corn round out the top crops. Add fields fenced off and turned into pasture with hundreds of cows grazing, Wyoming County's agricultural background is alive and strong.

This cache is a four leg multi-cache that will take you on a stroll while being surrounded with farmland and ending up in a tranquil wooded hedgerow. There are some great views of the surrounding hillsides as you walk through the valley. You will be looking for a 30 cal ammo box at the final coordinates. There is no need to climb around at the final to find the ammo can. You will be sharing the trail with snowmobiles in the winter and the occasional 4-wheeler during the summer. The first to find has a "Scratcher" waiting for them.
