Bunjil: Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article here.

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - Bunjil, and quote the cache name and GC number.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

In 1867 a gold bearing reef was discovered by Jas Kerr, who later formed a group of miners and named it “Karr’s Reef”.
The mine was worked for a number of years and yielded several hundred ounces of gold.
The site still has many original pieces of machinery and tools used during the gold mining era.

Today tours are run where you can walk through the 166 metre hand dug tunnel. For more information call in to the Yackandandah Visitor Information Centre.

This is a micro cache that contains a log sheet. Please bring a pen/pencil with you.

Good luck and enjoy
Coruze
