The cache is located a very short distance from the Trail of the
Eagle which runs the ridge north of Bear Canyon. There are
beautiful views in all directions from this spot which makes the
hike well worth the effort.

To access the Trail of the Eagle, begin at the Orson Smith
Trailhead in Draper, Utah. Parking and the trail head is located at
12601 South Highland Drive (2000 East). There are a few options to
get to the Trail of the Eagle from this trailhead, but in general
you will want to follow the Bonneville Shore Line Trail north to
where the trails intersect just beyond Bear Canyon. The trail is
very good with mostly gradual switchbacks as you gain elevation to
the cache site. Please stay on the trail! There is no advantage to
bushwhacking. Please replace the cache as you found it. Have fun
and enjoy the view! Don't forget your camera!
