Cache is a log only

Many travelers would stop at the "Shantago Half-Way House Saloon" on the corner of Jamaica Ave and Nassau Blvd. This corner is now Kissena Blvd and Horace Harding Expressway. The tavern was so named, because it was located half way between the towns of Flushing and Jamaica. A gas station sits on the site today.
