CASE NUOVE
On my recent stays at a hotel near Malpensa Airport,
I went for some walks through this village.
I liked it´s promising name.
Surprisingly, I found about half the houses abandoned, the entrance
doors and sometimes even the windows bricked up.
The gardens are overgrown, the primary school is also
deserted.
In some streets you feel as if the entire village was a "lost
place".
Due to the vicinity of the airport, two hotels have been
built here:
the Holiday Inn Express and the Crowne Plaza.
And: they keep building new hotels.
Hotelguests wander around Via G. Moreno looking for a cafeteria or
a small supermarket, but those no longer exist.
If you happen to pass by or if are lucky enough to spend a night in
Case Nuove, walk through the village and see for yourself.
Coming by
car:
park it somewhere near the header coordinates.
The entire walk should not take more than half an hour (including
the search for the cache).
You might want to check out the only pizzeria of Case Nuove on your
way back or visit the church, which is close by.
Here is your

find the two houses in the photographs at via G.Moreno.
Write down the housenumbers, do some calculations and then:
go for the cache!
The cache location can be reached by foot, a small path will lead
you there. Long pants are recommended.
