Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Atascocita Hike & Bike series! (pronounced Uh-Tas-Cah-See-Tah).

This series of ten caches starts on Atascocita Road and runs all the way to Will Clayton Parkway. I would recommend parking in one of the parking lots off of Atascocita Road and begin your journey. (There is a Ling's buffet nearby that has a big parking lot).

You can do most of the caches by bike, but I would recommend doing them all by foot, as there are some big ruts from 4 wheelers so it makes it a little difficult to easily ride a bike to all the caches.

All of the caches are clear soda tubes physically attached to something -- please do not attempt to remove the soda tube from where it is attached. You will need to unscrew the cap in place and remove the log with your finger.

Also you will notice that almost all of the logsheets have a code at the top of the logsheet. Be sure to write down all of the codes, as they will provide you with clues on the following puzzle cache: GC2CPQ1

Please bring your own pen, LOTS of water, bug spray, sunscreen, a hiking stick, and a camera! You never know if you'll see any cool wildlife. There may be poisonous plants, thorns, insects, snakes, and other bugs or animals. There is a defined trail for most all of the caches, but please still be careful!

Congratulations on completing the series! While this 10th cache is not technically a terrain 4 done on its own, I am classifying it as a terrain 4 assuming you completed this series in one setting -- this cache is over a mile from the first cache of this series. Have fun hiking back!
