This multi-cache and the area of Camp Hill where the first point is located is named for a young man whose life was much too short, but whose legacy has grown and flourished in the guise of a grove of trees donated in his honor by an anonymous person.
The grove begins at N 40 14.164 W 76 55.339 and ends near the first stage of our memorial cache. While there please visit the nice contemplation area at N 40 14.178 W 76 55.225.
Owen R. Lentz was a Scout that truly lived the motto, "Do your best!" Due to this, my son's den has decided to place this cache in his honor as well as to encourage even more people to visit this beautiful area of Camp Hill.
The first cache is located at the far end of the Grove, but it is also an area that is very close to all kinds of muggle pastimes such as baseball, soccer, and other outdoor activities. This will be an extreme stealth cache at certain times of the day/week.
For those of you that are Boy Scouts Geocaching is now an official merit badge so do yourself a favor and try to do this as a "two-fer", caching and scouting. As a Cub Scout use this as part of your Map and Compass belt loop or as a Boy Scout the merit badge. The second part will require a compass or a very smart phone or GPSr since it asks for degrees and bearings. The third is hidden close to muggle activities as well so this certainly a stealth find.
Due to previous issues the last stage now has a lock on it. The combination is our local Pack and Troop number, 051.
Good Luck!
