Geocache Description:

Bottom of the 9th, bases loaded and 2 out! The bunt goes down up the 3rd base line and the squeeze play is on, it's gunna be close. Here's the throw and there's the play at the plate. Holy cow, I think he's gunna make it .......... Find the cache before the innings ends.

Take me out to the ball game!
In the '70s baseball was a bigger sport than anything in Australia (true story) ..... head out to Corbin Field in Quakers Hill on a Saturday for juniors or on any Sunday for the Sydney Major League grade games. Come and cheer on your favourite team, or just come for the spectacle, as they duke it out, inning by inning.

For the junior cachers there is a nice safe playground which has recently been refurbished and, if you are hungry, game days always see the canteen open and cooking up a storm on the bbq.

Come out for the cache, stay for the ball game. Sit a spell and chat with the scorers, but watch out ..... the Umpire's rule the roost!

This is the 3rd in my baseball series of caches. Extreme stealth will be needed both on game days and during any training to nab this one. This is a very high muggle area on game days with no plausible cover for caching activities, giving it the 3-star difficulty rating (only a 1.5 on non-game days).

You are looking for a magnetised Eclipse mint tin painted black. Cache contains logbook and pencil and is only large enough for small trackables.

***** CONGRATULATIONS ON THE FTF TO FIREBOLT_CAL AND HIT GIRL *****

Included in the cache was a FTF Mini-Geo Coin. This was not a prize and was not to be kept as it is owned by Summer'skoby in Townsville. Its goal is to be placed in as many brand-new caches as possible. Taken by Firebolt_Cal to be used in a new cache in the future!
