Liverpool Rd Retarding Basin
Liverpool Rd Retarding Basin is owned and managed by Melbourne Water. This retarding basin is very special. Remnant vegetation supports rare, threatened and vulnerable animals. including a lizard called the Swamp Skink, the southern Toadlet, and birds like the Great Egret, Powerful Owl and a type of duck known as Hardhead. Because of this, it's a Site of Biodiversity Significance, and we need the communitys help to protect it.
Nice place to walk the dog on a leash.
Easy parking, muggles shouldnt be a problem.
