Geocache Description:

The Rink

The Yale Rink, full name David S. Ingalls Rink, is one of the most unique shaped buildings on the campus. The Rink was designed by architect Eero Saarinen and built between 1953 and 1958. The Rink is named for David S. Ingalls, Yale class of 1920, and David S. Ingalls, Jr., Yale class of 1956, both of whom were hockey captains.

The Rink is the home of the Yale hockey team. It also hosts the hockey games of New Haven area high schools.

The cache is a plastic tube and is a little bit bigger than normal micro cache but smaller than a regular small cache.

For parking, there are meter parking on Prospect street, you can also park on Mansfield street temporarily, just beware that the Mansfield street is a one-way street.

There is an one dollor bill for the FTF. Good luck.
