The Series
The Kildane Bottom series is set on a 2.575 (approx) mile walk, which take’s in a circular route around Kildane, and some bonus hides dotted up and down the road, which can be done as cache ‘n’ dashes. In total, there are 13 caches, and we often add new ones. This series was hidden by Wacky races, Griff Grof and Glamour Princess. Please be easy on us, this is our first series.

The Walk

Kildane’s Bottom is located roughly 2 miles away from the charming Cotswold village of Snowshill. You may begin the walk at any point, but we recommend starting at ‘Prince’s Trot’, and walking to ‘Magic Valley’ , and continuing on the circular route round to ‘Gramtham and Cachley Cole’ , and then make your way back to ‘Prince’s Trot ‘, (unless you’d like to find the other caches in the series). On the way you will walk thorugh a stunning valley, which look’s best in full bloom. There are lovely views towards Sezincote, before you walk through a plantation of trees, which are only 15 years old. The perfect completion to this walk would be strolling up to Far Upton Wold, where 2 more caches are located. Far Upton Wold is a fantastic place and you’ll pass a spooky property on the way to ‘Haunted Hotel’. And, if you’d like a double whammy, you can divert onto StagRamblers ‘Hinchwick Valley’ series, which we highly recommend. The Kildane Bottom walk has been thoroughly enjoyed by walkers, and cachers alike. We hope you’ll enjoy the walk as much as we do.
Please note the walk does have 3 unfriendly dog stiles.
