Sasha's Swim Traditional Cache
MorrisonHiker: The cache survived the flooding but Sasha doesn't swim here anymore. Sasha and both of my Rhodesian Ridgebacks were viciously attacked by the Alaskan Malamute that lives east of this cache, on S. Park Avenue. Sasha didn't sustain any permanent injuries but both of my dogs have permanent scars from the attacks. The owners have been cited but their dog continued to escape and attack other dogs. If you are in the neighborhood, beware of this dog and call the authorities if you see it running loose or if you are attacked while the owner is walking it. Cache is located a little off the Bear Creek Trail in a small dark-colored camo pill bottle. It's under a large dark colored boulder.
This is a nice shady spot where you can hang out and let the dogs get a drink or wade in Bear Creek after a nice walk along the Bear Creek Trail. The water at the SWIM waypoint is deeper...but if the hot sun is overhead, you might want to head to this cache location to chill. If you see a Golden Retriever taking a dip while you're around, yell "Sasha!" and see if she responds. :-)
The cache container is a large pill bottle. Currently it has the logbook, pencil and a couple tiny trinkets. The FTF can take the 512 MB USB Drive as a reward.
